In his first public appearance leading the Curtis Symphony Orchestra, Yannick Nézet-Séguin, music director of the Philadelphia Orchestra, brings his inimitable artistry and charisma to a program of dramatic music with deep roots in the traditions and history of Eastern Europe, a continuatoin of Curtis's sixth all-school project, Russia: A Land and Its Influence. Conducting fellow Kensho Watanabe is also featured.
