Hear Jessica Lee (Violin ’01) and Peter Stumpf (Cello ’85), members of the Johannes Quartet, alongside other Curtis Summerfest faculty in Dvořák’s transformative String Quartet No. 2. Beloved Philadelphia recitalist Charles Abramovic (Piano ’76) performs Mendelssohn’s first sonata for cello and piano with Angela Park (Cello ’07), principal cellist of the Seoul Philharmonic. The program also includes works by Manoury and Vinao, performed by the young percussionists of the Arx Duo.
